Gatherings

Today is the family picnic. The first one in a few years. But we are not going. It still does not seem to be sensible to travel. Even though lots of people are doing it. It seems like People figure with the vaccine, they might as well pretend it’s normal. And perhaps that was what was expected with a vaccine, that you can just ignore the problem. But it is still a new situation. I suppose it illustrates the tendency to approach new problems with old mind sets. Anyway, the picnic is outside and I hope they have good weather.
