Peru

I read a post about how we may want to be going to new places because we are so bad at appreciating places we have been. So I will go back in my thoughts. I think of Peru as one of the most fascinating places we have been. My spouse and I did the Inca trail. Even with locals carrying and preparing the food and the tents, it was an effort getting up the trails. But to see these ancient places besides Machu Picchu, which you can only see along the trail felt special even as a dumb Westerner gawking.
