Rurouni Kenshin - Origin

This is the third of these movies that I’ve seen, and the first that kind of made sense. It takes place in Japan after the Meiji restoration. The arch enemy seems to be adopting Western practise in his clothing and preoccupation with money. The hero was an unparalleled killer during the rebellion for the sake of a new era of peace and he has given up on killing to the extend that he has a sword that is reversed. I suppose this is the extreme example of the paradox about martial arts, that they are supposed to be for self-defense.
