Not so dear Watson
I read The Double Helix by James Watson in high school. It was intriguing to read about the discovery of the structure of DNA. Much later, I found out they had basically stolen data from Rosalind Franklin without adequate recognition. Next I heard about Watson and the Human Genome project, but usually saying and doing disagreeable things. Now I am listening to an intriguing audiobook called Scientist, about evolutionary biologist E. O. Wilson. Apparently, Wilson and Watson began their careers at Harvard around the same time. Watson sounds like quite a jerk. Disappointing when giants turn out to be small.
