Umbrella Academy

I watched the first episode of the third season. Usually I don’t really like watching series of things. I prefer watching movies that are self contained stories. I don’t want to give up that much space and time in my head. But the unexpected strangeness of the Umbrella Academy I find irresistible. It seems that Elliot Page’s Vanya character is going to come out as transgender and this has been getting most of the press. The first episode does not address that, but an issue of another alternative timeline in which they get their butts kicked by the Sparrow Academy.
