The Netflix documentary on Bill Nye shows him debating a creationist in Kentucky and climate deniers. He is idolized as for his kids' science show. It's one thing to put out a show, and another to be able to discuss things when you are not actually an expert. But he wants to have people talk to each other even if they disagree. Find out where the disagreements are. Not understanding science seems to result in people unable to think about evolution or climate change.
