Age as a state of mind

This year (still a few months) I turn 60. It doesn’t bother me exactly, but I remember Fran Leibowitz saying that no one is ever happy about turning 60. I read a quote that said you are only as young as the last time you changed your mind. I think the point is that it is good to be open-minded enough to change your mind. But if you measured it by the last time you changed your mind, then changing your mind more recently would meant that you would be older than if you had become set in your ways.
