Plucky

On the Ologies podcast I was hearing about Plumology, the study of feathers. I wrote a paper on feather evolution as an undergrad in Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy at the University of Toronto. Our professor Tom Parsons had written the book on the subject. And when we submitted our papers (on actual paper then) it came back covered in comments, like conversation with your work. Remarkable really, although a bit unnerving at the time. So anyway, on the podcast, they mentioned a guy who stole some rare bird specimens from a Museum to sell on the black market for fishing flies.
